Launch of the 2nd Level Master’s Degree in “Evaluation and Management of the Safety of Existing Infrastructural Works” – 2nd Edition

The second edition of the Master’s Degree in “Safety Assessment and Management of Existing Infrastructure Works” has begun. The program, organized by the FABRE Consortium, with administrative headquarters at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli,” is now in its second year.

The first edition of the Master’s Degree was held in the 2023/2024 academic year and concluded in May of this year.

This year, the Master’s Degree—sponsored by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) and ANSFISA—was once again a resounding success, with over 50 applications and 39 enrollees.

The opening day will be held online on Monday, November 3rd at 9:30 a.m.; click here to download the presentation poster. The meeting will include greetings from representatives of the sponsoring organizations:
– Simone Puggelli – Higher Council of Public Works
– Emanuele Renzi and Galileo Tamasi – ANSFISA
– Prof. Walter Salvatore – President of the FABRE Consortium

These will be followed by introductory remarks on the three main areas of focus of the Master’s program:
– Structures – Prof. Andrea Dall’Asta
– Geology and Geotechnics – Prof. Paolo Simonini
– Hydraulics – Prof. Armando Brath

The program will be rounded out by remarks from Eng. Paolo Mannella (ANAS) and the Master’s Director, Prof. Gianfranco De Matteis.
