A series of census and control activities has recently begun on numerous bridges and viaducts in the metropolitan city of Turin. The census activities and inspections are developed within the framework of an agreement, signed by the Metropolitan City of Turin with the Fabre Consortium, which concerns the structures identified according to the new guidelines on bridges.
The collaboration with the Metropolitan City of Turin has the objective of developing study, experimentation and updating of the safety assessment and monitoring of existing bridges, testing the effectiveness of non-destructive investigations, validated through the execution of material tests.
